Frequently Asked Questions

What areas do you cover??

We cover Chichester Marina, Hayling Island, Port Solent, Gosport, and most marinas along the South Coast. If you're unsure whether we service your location, just drop us a message.

How much notice do I need to book??

We recommend booking 2–3 weeks in advance during busy seasons, especially for winter works or ceramic coating. Short-notice jobs may still be available depending on our schedule.

What types of boats do you work on?

We work on all types of vessels—from RIBs and motor cruisers to sailing yachts and superyachts. No job is too big or small.

What products do you use?

We use high-end marine detailing products including Angelwax Marine, System X, and Onyx Coatings. All are specially formulated for long-lasting marine protection.

What’s the difference between a standard valet and a full cut & polish?

A standard valet includes a full exterior clean and rinse-down. A cut & polish involves machine compounding and polishing to restore shine, remove oxidation, and protect the gel coat.

Is ceramic coating worth it on a boat?

Yes—ceramic coating offers long-term UV protection, easier cleaning, and maintains gloss for years. It’s especially valuable on darker hulls or boats exposed to heavy sun and salt.

How long does ceramic coating last?

Depending on the product used and how the boat is maintained, our marine-grade ceramic coatings typically last 12–36 months. We’ll advise the best option for your vessel and usage.

Are your products eco-friendly?

Yes, wherever possible we use eco-conscious, biodegradable marine-safe products that won’t harm the water or wildlife.

Do I need to be present during the service?

No—if we have access to the boat and the marina allows contractor work, we can carry out the service while you’re away and send you updates or photos when done

How do I get a quote?

Click the “Get a Quote” button on our homepage. We’ll ask for your boat type, location, and the service you need, then get back to you promptly.
